Celebrate America’s Newest World Champions!

Unless you’ve been living under a rock this week, you’ve heard by now that the United States Women’s National Team (USWNT) emphatically beat Japan in the Women’s World Cup Final this past Sunday to earn the title of World Champions. Team ‘Merica surged out of the gate with a three-goal lead in the first 15 minutes thanks to Carli Lloyd’s historic hat trick.

It’s been 16 years since the USWNT claimed the title of World Cup Champions, and we couldn’t be more proud.

In honor of this momentous occasion, our sister magazine Sports Illustrated, is releasing a special cover to commemorate the achievement of our ladies.

USWNT Special Cover

World. Champions.

You can order it here and frame it, gift it to a friend or family member (my niece is getting one for sure), and hang it somewhere to remind you of that time America’s women proved they are the best soccer players in the world.

Thanks for the memories, Team USA. We believe!
