My favorite season is finally here. I’ve been counting down the days to the Autumnal Equinox since December 20 of last year. Maybe it’s because I’m an October baby or because I grew up in North Alabama where the beautiful mountains make the perfect backdrop to corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and outdoor bonfires. Or maybe it’s because I’m just really excited for some delicious fall food. For that reason, I’ve collected 7 dishes I can’t wait to make this fall. You should try them, too.

The Perfect Fall Dessert: Hasselback Apples. Thinly slice a large firm apple, and coat it in a warm and spicy oat mixture. Bake until tender, and top with a scoop of your favorite vanilla ice cream. Watch a brief (and delicious) how-to video for Hasselback Apples.
A Fabulous Fall Dinner: Bacon and Butternut Pasta. Earthy kale, sweet butternut, savory bacon combine for the perfect fall dinner.
Fall’s Favorite One-Dish Dinner: Spiced Pork Tenderloin with Sautéed Apples. This one-pan pork tenderloin entree is perfect for cooler nights. Sweet spices coat lean pork tenderloin, while apples get a savory treatment with shallots and thyme.
A+ Dessert: Apple Upside-Down Cake. Mild Rome apples are great for baking. You can also use Pink Lady, Honeycrisp, or Jonagold apples. Dollop the cake with a bit of whipped cream, if desired.
Fireside Favorite: Craveable Caramel Apples. Start with our basic caramel sauce, and customize with one of our 5 tasty combos: Hummingbird, Granola and Rosemary Cider, Pistachio-Orange, White Chocolate-Pumpkin Pie, and Bacon-Pretzel-Peanut Butter.
Superfast Soul Food: Fast Chicken Chili with Butternut Squash. Fall is the season we should all simmer a pot and ladle out a bowl of soul for friends and family. Don’t forget the corn muffins.
The Humble Mess: Master Hash. Hash isn’t sexy or even very elegant, but it is quite delicious. The chopped and diced dish of potatoes, peppers, carrots, and steak combine to create a hearty, healthy plate of fabulous fall flavors.
