The Ultimate Valentine’s Day Breakfast

Peanuts.jpg

Valentine’s Day falls on a Sunday this year, which is exciting for those of us (i.e. me) who want to craft a romantic breakfast for that special someone without rising with the roosters. I can slowly sip my coffee and fully wake up while I make him something special.

Here are a few great ideas, starting with our fun Inside-Out Pancakes:

Brunch Parfaits: Fitting in with the V Day color scheme, these can be made with Greek yogurt instead for extra protein.

Mushroom, Bacon, and Swiss Strata: Fancy up the traditional take on breakfast casserole. Pairs well with a glass of crisp Champagne.

French Toast Soldiers: A different take on traditional French toast, with yet another Valentine-appropriate color scheme.

Potato Coins with Fried Eggs: For those of us who like breakfast more on the savory side.
