Nail polish names are known to be delightfully random (OPI’s “I’m Not Really a Waitress,” for example), but there’s also quite a bit of crossover with our world via the many polishes with food-inspired titles. Here are a few of my favorites plucked from a buffet of options:
Essie’s Peach Side Babe is from their summer 2015 collection. A delightful coral with peach undertones.
OPI’s You’re So Vain-illa: The brand did a whole Coca-Cola-inspired collection this year. This creamy neutral is a great option for all seasons.
Sally Hansen Wine Not: (Now there’s a question I often ask myself!) This pretty pinot-inspired shade will make a nice transition into cooler months.
China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint: Minty and fresh, try it on your toes as a mojito-friendly pedi.
Butter London: Tart with a Heart: I’m pretty sure this Brit brand meant a different kind of tart, but let’s just play along and paint on this fun glitter-infused lacquer, right?
