Fall is in the air, and that means several delightful things: it’s no longer 90+ degrees (can I hear a “hallelujah?”), cozy sweaters are a go, and most importantly—pumpkin everything! From pumpkin pound cake (oh my, buttermilk glaze) and ice cream to ravioli and hummus, pumpkin’s versatility is nothing short of amazing. I’m not saying you shouldn’t have the good ol’ classic pumpkin pie this year because you totally should. But definitely give one (or all) of these not-so-typical pumpkin recipes a try. There’s a taste of fall to be had with every single bite.
Pumpkin Pound Cake with Buttermilk Glaze: Not all pound cake is created equally, and the buttermilk glaze is why this one (literally) takes the cake.
Pumpkin Ravioli with Gorgonzola Sauce: Ravioli may seem like an unlikely pumpkin carrier, but you’ll think it’s everything but that when you taste it.
Pumpkin Ice Cream Torte: Move over, pumpkin pie. We’ve raised you one level and added ice cream to the mix.
White Bean Pumpkin Hummus: A slightly sweet yet smoky dip that’s sure to get any autumn party started.
Pumpkin Almond Pancakes: Wake up and smell the pumpkin (and bacon, of course).
